For the second year, FedEx is supporting March of Dimes by unveiling a new, co-branded paint scheme on the #11 FedEx Office Toyota Camry to promote the March for Babies in 2009. FedEx Driver Denny Hamlin, who will race the new paint scheme April 18, 2009, in Phoenix, needs a new racing helmet especially for this event.

To help Denny find the perfect helmet, FedEx is conducting a design contest. If you are a FedEx team member with a child under the age of 12 who would like to win the chance to have his or her artwork featured on Denny’s helmet, we want to see those drawings!

The contest will run Friday, January 30, 2009, through Friday, February 13, 2009. A committee of FedEx Office team members will select the winning design.

Denny Hamlin will unveil his new helmet April 2, 2009, in Dallas. After the Phoenix race, the helmet will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting March of Dimes.

*Contest Rules, Terms and Conditions

Children under the age of 12 of FedEx team members are eligible to participate. Original drawings must be sent to the FedEx Office corporate offices to the attention of Courtney Reese at 13155 Noel Road, Ste. 1600; Dallas, TX 75240. Submissions must be postmarked no later than Friday, February 13, 2009. Those postmarked after this date will not be considered. Faxes or scanned drawings will not be accepted. Drawings will not be returned after the conclusion of the contest. Submissions must include the following information for consideration: team member’s full name, title, operating company, location/department and contact information; the child’s full name and age; and a brief essay containing no more than 150 words describing why the family supports March of Dimes. Submissions will be anonymous to the review committee that selects the winner. The child, whose design is selected, will have the option to attend the Dallas unveiling event April 2, 2009. Travel and accommodations for a one-night stay in Dallas will be provided for the child and one adult.
