Sheila Harrell Named Customer Service Executive of the Year

On February 10, Executive Director of the Customer Service Institute of America, Christine Churchill presented FedEx Customer Service Vice President Sheila Harrell with the 2008 Customer Service Executive of the Year award. Sheila was awarded the honor on November 17, 2008, but due to the busy holiday season and other commitments she was not able to attend the awards ceremony.  Sheila accepted the award in front of and on behalf of her team in a small gathering on the FedEx campus.

About the CSIA

I have had the priviledge of knowing Ms. Harrell for many years at FedEx, and I know of no other person that the word "consummate professional" applies to better than Sheila. Forever pleasant, respectful and driven, she makes everyone aspire to their greatest potential. I am so very proud for you!~

I can't think of a better

I can't think of a better person to present the 2008 Customer Service Executive of the Year award to than Ms. Harrell. She's a talented management professional who has respect for her team members, is willing to listen to new ideas, is results-oriented, and has a great sense of humor (which is always important). I'm proud to be aligned to the FCIS group and the opportunity to work with Ms. Harrell.
