We're ready to be the difference! Even during tough times, FedEx Cares Week gives us the chance to help our neighbors and our communities. Explore some of the ways FedEx team members around the world are lending a hand:

CHARLOTTE: FedEx Ground and Home Delivery Team Lend Sorting Skills to Food Bank

Joining in FedEx Cares Week for the first time, more than 40 FedEx Ground and Home Delivery team members in Charlotte, NC  helped sort through donations at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina – many showing up to volunteer right after their night shift at the hub and before going home to sleep.

SHANGHAI, CHINA: Our Donated Clothing are Symbols of Care and Love By: Lily Lin

Since the announcement of our annual FedEx Cares Week, team members from China have participated in different activities. In Shanghai, team members donated clothing for people living in poor areas. On the evening of September 16, volunteers from different FedEx offices in Shanghai came to the headquarters to sort and pack the donated clothing. They gathered in a big conference room and participated in our activity despite the fact that they just finished a full work day of work.

NEW YORK CITY: Volunteers Return to Lower East Side to Support Community Hub

It was a cool and cloudy day in New York, and fall was in the air as volunteers gathered at the Lower East Side’s Henry Street Settlement. This was the second year FedEx Cares activities focused on Henry Street, which delivers a wide range of social services and arts programming to more than 100,000 New Yorkers each year.

FedEx Delivers Meals to Homebound Seniors

FedEx Feeds volunteers around the country are stepping up to feed the hungry during National Hunger Action Month. FedEx IT and FedEx Solutions team members in Memphis are doing their part by making weekly meal deliveries to homebound seniors by volunteering for MIFA (Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association).
