HIS_0056.jpg On Monday, I spoke to a unique audience of transportation executives and academic leaders on “The Greening of the Global Supply Chain.” I recapped our efforts at FedEx to have a more energy efficient and environmentally responsible set of operations in our operating companies. GroupAward.jpg President Obama has continued the tradition of issuing a Presidential Proclamation declaring March as Red Cross month. FedEx is thrilled that on March 9 we will be the featured corporate sponsor on the Red Cross month website, accessible from redcross.org. FedEx was proud to receive last year the Henry Dunant International Partnership Award from the Red Cross for our longstanding support of the organization's disaster preparedness and relief efforts worldwide. (The photo associated with this post shows FedEx team members receiving the award.)

bphilipstfa.jpg Tomorrow's leaders are today's children, which is why FedEx is committed to investing both time and resources into educating children and supporting causes such as Teach for America.  At FedEx Office, education is equally as important, which led the company to introduce a program specifically designed for educators last year.  Through the FedEx Office Educators Savings programs, teachers and educators nationwide are entitled to a 15 percent discount on all printing services.  Our goal is to be a reliable resource for educators who are forming our future young leaders.
