John Dunavant

Vice President Memphis World HUB

John is the Vice President of the FedEx World HUB in Memphis, Tennessee.  He formerly served for eight years as the Managing Director of the FedEx Global Operations Command and Control Center which not only serves as Mission Control but also has responsibility for catastrophic planning and execution for FedEx Express. As VP of FEDEX's MEM World HUB, John oversees the activities of 10,000+ employees who have the responsibility for sorting over 2 million packages per day.

John started at FEDEX 29 years ago as an hourly employee in the MEM HUB. He attended the University of Memphis while working part time and once he completed school he was able to move into a front line management positon. John has over 25 years of  management experience at FEDEX.  He also holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
